Introducing Women’s Night, every 1st Thursday of the month  (November 7, December 5, January 2, February 6, March 6)

Pick-up games will be self-led by members/participants and will start at 7:00 and continue until 9:00. Games will follow traditional pick-up basketball rules agreed upon at the start of each game. Please understand that the Greater Johnstown Community YMCA closes at 9:00 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings; games may be cut short to begin closing procedures.  If you have any questions, please direct them to Jason Andrews at 814-535-8381 or email him at [email protected]

YMCA Water Volleyball

What’s better than Volleyball?   Water Volleyball!  Water Volleyball is a great way to exercise, add the resistance of water, and you have a low-impact, safe game that will definitely wear you out. 

All players will register as individuals, but will be able to indicate if they are on a team or not. Players registering without a team will be placed on an incoming team or a team will be made. Team rosters will need to be completed before the beginning of the 6-week water volleyball league.   

Teams will be made up of 6 – 8 people, only 6 at a time in the water for each team.  

Best two out of three games wins, the winning score will be first to score 15 points with a 2 point lead.  There will be no official referees, it will be up to the teams to determine fair play.

Players must be 15 years or older to play.

Game days/times:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 pm – 8:50 pm
