Lifeguard Certification
LIFEGUARD TRAINING, RECERTIFICATIONS, BLENDED LEARNING
Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard. Successful completion results in a 2-year Lifeguard Certification.
American Red Cross Lifeguard classes are for adults or young adults age 15 and over. Blended Learning lifeguard training classes provide online coursework to be completed prior to entering the classroom. This will enable the in-person lifeguard training sessions to be held in a shorter amount of time.
Online coursework needs to be completed by the first day of class. You will receive a message verifying your successful completion of the online portion. Course material will be sent to the email you provide before in-person learning begins.
Completion of the online coursework alone does not certify you as a lifeguard.
