Youth Sports
Youth sports concentrates on teaching: Commitment, Integrity, Attitude, Teamwork, Trust, Accountability, Patience, and all out having FUN.
Basketball League- Boys 5th & 6th Grade
BOYS 5TH & 6TH BASKETBALL LEAGUE
LEAGUE DATES | October 24 – December 12
GAME DAYS | SATURDAYS (9 am – 4 pm)
PRICE | $50 INDIVIDUALS; $400 TEAMS
League play will begin in October. The deadline to register is October 7, 2026. The league will consist of 8 weeks of regular play plus 2 weeks for playoffs. Regular season games will be played on SATURDAYS. Playoff schedules will be determined near the end of the regular season.
Players registering without a team will be placed on a YMCA team with a volunteer coach and receive a team shirt for gameplay. YMCA teams will be limited to 10 players per team.
Incoming teams must complete a team registration packet that includes roster, waivers, and payment method at registration.

Basketball Skills & Drills
BASKETBALL SKILLS & DRILLS
DAY | July 25, August 1, August 8
TIME | 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
AGES | 3rd through 6th grade
COST | $30 per session; $80 for all 3 sessions
Our skills & drills basketball sessions are for 3rd through 6th graders. Each session will focus on a different aspects of basketball.
July 25- Ball Handling & Dribbling
August 1- Passing & Game Situation
August 8- Shooting
The goals of the sessions are to improve skills, build fundamentals, increase confidence, promote sportsmanship, and teach game lessons while having fun. Lessons will be taught by our YMCA youth sports staff. Please note that as time permits, other fundamentals will be taught.
Tennis shoes/sneakers are required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.
