We all come together as a Y family embraced within the past, present and future.  To meet the changing and growing needs of our community we are making some changes!

A recent community needs assessment conducted by the United Way of the Laurel Highlands identifies five community priorities for Cambria and Somerset Communities-which encompasses the Johnstown YMCA servcie area.  These priorities are: 

-Helping Children and Youth Succeed

-Strengthening and Supporting Families

-Promoting Self-Sufficiency

-Supporting Vulnerable and Aging Populations

-Promoting Health and Wellness

That is why we are embarking on a multi-million-dollar capital project.  A newly renovated and expanded facility will provide us with the opportunity to offer programs and services needed to meet these needs, serve more people and to deepen our impact on the lives we serve.
